As part of the overall transition plan and Early Life Support period must be defined and agreed with all stakeholders. The Early Life Support period starts at service commencement (Go-live) and Runs for a specified period as agreed with the Client and Service Delivery Team. This period affords an opportunity to address any open items as well as to provide appropriate SLA or KPI performance measurements of the live Technology And Infrastructure components.
This involves the transition team, Client SMEs and the service delivery team who work together to closely monitor the established technology and infrastructure components in order to aid achievement of agreed performance measures in the service delivery organization and the Client business.
Technology And Infrastructure performance will continue to be monitored and assessed during this period, and this performance will provide a key input to the acceptance criteria to sign-off Early Life Support period. There will be a checkpoint to confirm completion of ELS support and transferring the controls to operational steady state. Ongoing support from Client SME’s will also come to an end at this time unless agreed to by the Client. Once the Early Life Support period concludes, the transfer of control to the Run team for the delivery of services is initiated. |
